Newt Con Loot

Every piece of loot has a story at Newt Con.  Newt Loot is the collection of curious treasures gathered or created by our crew or handed out to fellow adventurers as we journey towards the future. From time to time, our ship’s treasurer, Albithaar, uncovers a little extra bounty and offers it as prizes to those following our journey. A seemingly ordinary trinket could become the key to a future puzzle, earn you a reward at a panel or promotional event, or connect to a clue we haven’t revealed yet. You might even discover an online giveaway for a loot box filled with treasures of your own!

Want a chance at Albithaar’s bounty? Join the adventure! Share or comment on our Facebook posts using our hashtag, solve the puzzles and riddles tucked into our Newt Quest page and social media, and keep a watchful eye on The Wandering Tavern’s Facebook.  Answers sometimes turn up in unexpected places. Visit us where we’re vending, too; some quests may send you to our booth or other destinations around Mid-Missouri. We’ll document the loot we discover right here on the Newt Loot page so you can revisit the collection and follow its clues. If a piece of Newt Loot finds its way into your hands, hold onto it. You never know when your treasure might unlock the next adventure!

Every adventure begins with a first treasure, and ours is the Wooden Half Dollar! Created as the very first piece of Newt Loot and handed out during Lincoln’s Homecoming 2026, this coin marks the moment Newt Con’s journey reached the community. It’s a little piece of our beginning, carried home by the adventurers who met us along the way. If you have one in your collection, keep it safe—Albithaar knows even the earliest treasures may have a part to play in the adventures ahead!
