What is Newt Con?

At its heart, Newt Con is a celebration of tabletop gaming and the incredible people who make this community what it is.

We believe gaming has a unique way of bringing people together. Strangers become friends, friends become adventuring parties, and a simple roll of the dice can become a story told you didn't realize you would be so invested in.

Newt Con is our opportunity to take everything we love about gaming and bring it together in one immersive experience. We want you to discover new games, revisit old favorites, participate in interactive panels and connect with people who share your passions. Just as importantly, we want to celebrate the dreamers and creators who pour their hearts into this community. From independent game designers and talented artists to imaginative storytellers and original cosplayers, we believe everyone deserves an opportunity to share something they've created and be proud of it.

That same spirit of community is what inspired The New Ember Wyvern Tavern, affectionately known as The N.E.W.T.

For us, the journey has begun with The Wandering Tavern, traveling from gathering to gathering, selling Mocktails and serving for private weddings and events. Our goal is to breathe life into the Tavern in a way that shows the stories we tell at the table can transcend in a fun creative way into something you can share with others.  Every great adventure though needs a place where travelers can come together, and that dream is what brings us to Newt Con.

For one weekend, we're bringing The New Ember Wyvern Tavern to life. A small yet mighty community we are so excited to get to know on this journey!
